1. What type of search results can be found on Wak Web?
Wak Web’s main search results are metasearch. The Wak Web search's metasearch technology automatically returns the top results from the Web's leading search engines. As a result, Wak Web search will return a richer and broader spectrum of results than those available by using any other single search engine. Each of the search engines accessed by Wak Web search-Google, Yahoo!, Ask Jeeves, and others-work in different ways, and therefore, provides different results. The Internet is an enormous and constantly changing medium, making it impossible for any single engine to reach the entire Web. Wak Web's metasearch technology provides an easy way to search more of the Web by harnessing the collective power of the most popular engines.

Yes we do. Wak Web search also utilizes other resources that provide content for images, audio/MP3, video, and news. The following list provides a summary of these resources.

- Audio Search provided by Yahoo! and Singingfish.
- Video Search provided by Yahoo! and Singingfish.
- News Search provided by Yahoo! News, Topix, Fox News and ABCN.
3. Is there a way to submit my site on Wak Web?
You can easily add your site to the directory and sales tab for free. Just click on the link below called Suggest a Site and sign up for an account. To get listed in the search results, please contact us at admin@wakweb.com for more information.
4. If I’m having a hard time finding something, is there anyway Wak Web can help?
Wak Web can help you find what you’re looking for through our concierge tab. Just type in what you’re looking for and submit it to us. We’ll then search the web for the best results and reply back to you usually within 24 hours.
5. How do I change the way the search results appear?
To change the search results, just go to the preferences tab or preferences link next to the search bar and adjust it to the way you want it.
6. What browsers does Wak Web work best on?
On Windows, Wak Web works great with all browsers. If you use Mac computers, Wak Web does not work well with Internet Explorer version 5. If you are using a Mac computer, we recommend you use Firefox. ( Firefox is a new browser that is a lot safer than Internet Explorer. It blocks pop ups and protects you more from spyware.)

You can report any misleading links you find, in fact we encourage it. To do so, please email us at support@wakweb.com and let us know which link you find to be misleading.
The sales tab is a section where websites that sign up with Wak Web have a chance to advertise a sale or special they may be offering.
9. What is the Preferences tab?
The preferences tab is where you can customize Wak Web to the way you like it. You can hide some of the tabs and add your own. You can also edit the way Wak Web search results appear.
10. Do you have any search tips?
Yes we do in fact. Make sure you are as precise as possible. Also try other keywords that relate to what you’re searching for to get more results so you have more to choose from. (Example: For airfare put something like cheap airfare) If that doesn’t work, use our concierge service and let us do the searching for you.
11. Is there a way to edit how Wak Web looks?
Yes there is. All you have to do is sign up and you will be able to add your own image in place of our logo, add your favorite sites, edit the Wak Web tabs, change the color of the search bar, and add daily reminders or notes.
